He is no other than UST Fine Arts alumnus Joe Datuin. He has developed an interest in the field of painting at an early age. Growing up, he focused his career in pursuit of excellence with the great masters of art as his inspiration. In college, his mentors included National Artist J. Elizalde Navarro, Cenon Rivera, Angelito Antonio, Leon Pacunayen and Mario Parial. He has apprenticed under National Artist Arturo Luz at the Design Center of the Philippines from 1977-1981. |
